CEO and Founder
In 2016, Krys took over a struggling beauty spa that had 24 days before it closed its doors permanently. What she inherited was a business with no financial infrastructure, no operational systems, and no clear path to survival. What she built, in 60 days, was a profitable, self-sustaining medical clinic.
She hired a medical director. She rebuilt the pricing structure from the ground up. She redesigned the entire flow of the clinic, from how patients were scheduled to how services were delivered to how revenue was captured. Twenty-four days from closure to complete turnaround and built-in sustainability in 60 days. That engagement was the proof of concept that became HealthRush Consulting.
She started nursing in 2017, earned her BSN in 2021, and spent years on the floor of rural healthcare facilities watching organizations struggle with the same problems she had solved in that first turnaround. The financial guidance gap in rural healthcare was not abstract to her. She had lived on both sides of it.
In 2023 she launched HealthRush formally, beginning with financial turnaround work for outpatient clinics in rural Georgia. The results spoke for themselves. HealthRush has since grown to serve clients across health IT, outpatient hospital services, standalone clinics, hospitals of all sizes, and inpatient systems, with $6M in documented savings and $8M in client revenue generated and counting.
